MALDON: Police suspect arson at fuel yard blaze

A FIRE that tore through four fuel lorries is being treated as suspicious by police.

The blaze happened at 6.30pm on Saturday in West Station Yard, off Spital Road in Maldon.

Families nearby feared they would have to be have evacuated, but fire crews used foam jets to bring the blaze under control by 8.15pm.
