NOAK BRIDGE: Fire in ground floor flat

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a flat in Noak Bridge just after 7pm on Wednesday, to tackle a blaze in a ground floor flat.

Crews from Billericay and Basildon, Essex, arrived to deal with the kitchen fire at the home in Bramble Tye.

After the fire was put out at 7.30pm, emergency services used a specialised fan to clear smoke from the building.
