Dramatic victory for county high girls

THE under-14 girls of Chelmsford County High School are celebrating after winning the Essex Cup hockey final.

The final was a close call between CCHS and Saffron Waldon, the result finally being decided on penalty flicks.

Ann Molyneux, advanced skills teacher at the school, said: "I am really delighted that the team had such a successful end to their season.

"They and their coaches work very hard throughout the season with school, club and county."
