Basildon man in court on sex charges

Friday, July 18, 2008, 09:40

A BASILDON man has been charged in connection with a series of sex offences spanning four years.

In 2004, a 98-year-old woman from Pitsea awoke to find a man had entered her home and was indecently exposing himself.

This was followed by similar incidents in which a man was seen exposing himself in gardens and streets across Basildon.

Neville Green, 44, from Minster Road, will appear at Basildon Magistrates Court later today.

The unemployed man is charged with one count of burglary, eight counts of indecent exposure and nine counts of reckless trespassing on premises in order to commit a sexual act.
