BRENTWOOD: Thieves target cars

DRIVERS should be extra vigilant in the wake of seven thefts from cars in the area in the past few days.

In Hutton, a sat nav and sunglasses was stolen from a blue Ford Mondeo left unlocked in Shenfield Gardens on Sunday, January 31.

A blue Mitsubishi Colt had a rear window smashed in St Johns Avenue, Warley between 8.30pm on Tuesday February 2 and 3pm the following day.

A brief case and a Nikon digital camera were stolen.

Also overnight, on Tuesday the front and rear offside wheels and alloy centre caps were stolen from a red Ford Fiesta in Ongar Road, Stondon Massey, near Brentwood, Essex.

Further thefts occurred in Harlow and Epping Forest.
