That's the desperate mission Billericay Town manager is on this week as he bids to find a proven goal-getter in time for his side's home game against Maidstone United this Saturday.
"I'm really trying to bring in such a forward this week, but there aren't many about as most managers at our level know," said Statham. "I know if we can find the right player it will make all the difference."
Statham has been without his main goal scorer, Billy Bricknell, with injury for the past three weeks and the promising youngster is still at least couple of weeks away from returning.
With experienced forward Chris Sullivan having departed New Lodge a few weeks ago it's left James Baker as the lone, and only experienced striker up front.
Town, sitting perilously fourth from bottom in the relegation zone have scored the least number of goals, 23, than any other side in the division.
Last Saturday was a prime example because Town went to second placed Kingstonian and played well, created at least four clear-cut scoring chances, but only found the net once and then gave what Statham describes as "poor" goals away.
"When you're down there that little bit of luck doesn't go your way," he added.
