Rich Hall, Rhona Cameron, Mitch Benn and Mark Steel are all heading for the county town during the season of mist and mellow fruitfulness.
Rhona Cameron is one of the UK's most popular comedians and her new show promises to be more revealing than ever. She comes to the Civic on Thursday, October 16.
Rich Hall is a regular on Have I Got News For You, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and QI as well as being one of the sharpest stand-ups around. He'll be bringing along his redneck creation Otis Lee Crenshaw to Chelmsford on October 29.
Mixing music with comedy is Mitch Benn and the Distractions' speciality – throw in a bit of satire too and you've got a heady mix at the Civic on November 7.
Finally, Mark Steel combines social comment and humour to winning effect both on stage and for Radio 4 and his Independent newspaper column. He brings his What's Going On show to Chelmsford on November 19.
