COGGESHALL: Harry Hill gives singer big break

Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 14:26

A COGGESHALL man made his debut national TV appearance when he serenaded comic Harry Hill in a TV sketch.

Andy Page, of St Peter's Road, was invited to appear as a special guest on Harry Hill's TV Burp, screened on ITV1 on Saturday night.

He sang Michael Buble's Everyone to the star in a take-off of a calamitous episode of Virgin 1 show Restaurant in Our Living Room, which Andy had appeared in.

"I was honoured to be invited on to the programme," said Andy, 45, a fleet operations manager for Ford, who performs a Buble and Frank Sinatra tribute act in his spare time.

"Although the programme is designed to take the mickey, I have only had positive comments from friends, family and work colleagues. To go on national TV and meet Harry Hill was fantastic."
