Brand new craze

RADIO reprobate Russell Brand has been up to his old tricks by claiming he has become obsessed with a new sex craze.

The Grays comic told the Daily Star he has become a fan of Air Sex – a Japanese pastime which is described as air guitar for perverts and involves fully-clothed men simulating sex with an imaginary partner.

Brand was introduced to the unusual hobby by his yoga teacher Kazuko Burt, who said: "We told him about the World Air Sex Championship in Tokyo and he thought it was a delightful idea."

The former radio star, who quit Radio 2 in the wake of the recent scandal involving Jonathan Ross and Andrew Sachs, is said to be keen to meet Air Sex's creator J-Taro, who allegedly invented it because he couldn't get a girlfriend.
