What the judges are looking for

We are seeking Individuals who possess the all important relevant skills of achievement, style, business acumen, ability to motivate and enterprise. Entrants should have made, and are continuing to make a consistent contribution to the business environment in which they work.

Specific questions to answer

1. Demonstrate evidence of your personal contribution to staff development.
2. Identify special circumstances or attributes that you have such as overcoming adversity.
3. Describe an example of where you have personally increased business productivity
4. How have you expanded your company's brand or product range?
5. Give examples of innovative or creative ideas that have had an impact on your business

About the judges

Cooper Lomaz Recruitment has been established since 1990 and is widely regarded as the leading specialist recruitment consultancy in East Anglia. There are offices in Peterborough, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and Chelmsford. We employ 65 specialist consultants across the business. Chelmsford is the latest addition to our office network, launched in 2008.

Cooper Lomaz wanted to ensure that clients in the Essex area and London corridor could enjoy the same high quality of service for their specialist recruitment that we are known to deliver across the East of England.

The entrants/ nominations for the Outstanding Business Person will be judged by Sally Cleary (Operations Manager).

Sally has a background within HR and extensive recruitment experience, initially working with European Finance and Accountancy markets and the last 7 years in the UK within the contracting/ interim market and also offering bespoke recruitment solutions to clients. There was clearly a market for this within Essex. Clients have reacted very positively to being able to draw on a specialist agency within their own area, who understands the local market and can offer advice on current local market trends. Cooper Lomaz sponsors East Anglia Air Ambulance, East Anglia Children's Hospices and are actively involved as sponsors for the Norwich half Marathon for Cancer Research.
