Categories and Judges

In this section under List of Categories you will find a brief one-paragraph description of each category to help you choose the ones you want to enter. Remember, you can enter as many categories as you like.

Categories are generally sub-divided into small/medium and large size divisions according to the number of employees/contractors that a company has at the discretion of the judges. There will normally be two finalists in each size division. Categories that recognise individual performance IE Outstanding Business Person and Young Entrepreneur of the Year are not sub-divided by company size and there will generally be three finalists.

Full details of each category, what the judges are looking for and specific questions to answer are given in each of the drop-down boxes under Individual Categories.

Remember, all you have to do to enter is simply write in no more than 500 words (fewer are fine) why you believe you or your company should be recognised for an award and answer the maximum of five questions set by the judges. If you want to you can attach supporting documents such as photographs, leaflets, testimonials, etc. but this is entirely optional. You can enter by post or on-line. If you enter on-line there is provision for you to include up to six attachments.
