Friday, November 21, 2008, 15:22

Police have formally identified a man killed on a building site at Broomfield Hospital.

Guilherme De-Oliveira, 44, from Vilanova de Gaia, in Portugal, died at the hospital site on November 10.

Freak winds swept through the site, spinning a crane out of control.

A concrete block being lifted into place dropped from its clutches, killing Mr De-Oliveira.

An inquest was opened and adjourned on Monday, November 17, with the full inquest, with a jury, set to take place in 2009 in Chelmsford.

The provisional cause of death is multiple injuries.
