The Clarets were left disappointed on Tuesday as the proposed Setanta Shield Third Round clash with Grays Athletic at The New Recreation Ground was postponed at the last-minute due to floodlight failure at the Blue Square Premier side's home.
Supporters and players alike had arrived in readiness for the last 32 clash, with Crawley Town awaiting the winners in the next round, but a fault with the electrics at Grays meant no floodlighting could be provided and a new date of Tuesday November 25 (kick-off 7.45pm) has been agreed for the tie.
This is subject to City not having an FA Trophy replay with Hayes & Yeading United the previous evening after their pairing in the Carlsberg-sponsored competition.
If a replay with Hayes is necessary that game will take precedence and the Grays match will be rescheduled again.
Any potential Crawley Town away match would then be played in the week commencing December 1.
