Cash for Schools is back and starts on the 1st and 2nd October. Your school could be in with a chance of winning a share a £6,000 cash pot towards an enterprising project.

The Essex Chronicle and Gazette has teamed up with Essex and Suffolk Water and Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), to bring you the fourth annual Cash for Schools Promotion.

Aimed entirely at helping the schools of our local community, Cash for Schools offers a total of £6,000 to award to infant, primary and secondary schools in the mid-Essex area that need a financial boost.

It's time to vote


The waiting is over and it's time to cast your vote in this year's Cash for Schools competition. A share of a £6,000 cash pot is up for grabs in the annual Gazette Series and Essex Chronicle competition, sponsored by Essex & Suffolk Water and Anglia Ruskin University.



You may vote as many times as you wish as long as it's on an official voting form - photocopies will not be accepted. Further voting forms will be printed in the Gazette and Essex Chronicle in weeks ending November 21 and 28. To secure additional copies of the paper please call 01245 603377.

Completed forms can be dropped into the voting box at the Essex Chronicle offices at Westway or sent by post to the address shown on the voting form. The closing date for votes is noon on Friday December 5.

Don't worry if you are a small school, votes will be calculated against the number of pupils, so that everybody has a fair chance to win.


Terms and Conditions:
Judges will decide on winning schools based on work already carried out and votes per pupil received by the closing date. The editor's decision will be final in any dispute and no correspondence will be entered into. The closing date for votes will be midday Friday December 5, 2008. Votes must be on official voting forms. No photocopies accepted. Voting not on official voting forms will be disqualified. Voting coupons received after the closing date/time will be rendered invalid. Winners will be required to take part in publicity photographs and/or be prepared to have names and area published in the Essex Chronicle/Gazette Series newspapers.
