The NHS is launching an appeal to get at least 80 people giving blood on Good Friday.

The NHS Blood and Transplant service will be visiting Witham Public Hall in Collingwood Road on April 6.

Lead donor relations manager Derek Carr said: "I would like to encourage more local donors to attend the session in Witham. Giving blood is easy to do and you could save someone's life."

The team will be at the Public Hall between 10am and 1pm.
