Woman raped in Chelmsford - owner of car sought by police
POLICE have issued an image of a car which they say was used by a rapist when he attacked a woman in Chelmsford in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The woman, in her 20s, was forced into the car by a man between 2am and 3am in New London Road.
She was driven to Wood Street, close to the entrance of the former St John's Hospital, where she was attacked.
CCTV operators identified the car as a silver Ford Focus, registration AJ51 FKB, registered to an owner in the Brentwood area.

They are now trying to trace the owner.
The man who carried out the attack is described as white, in his late 20s, around 5ft 8ins and of slight build.
Senior Investigating Officer DCI Simon Werrett said: "I would urge the owner of this vehicle to get in touch with me."
