Sugar Hut is seeking bubbly hosts and hostesses
CONFIDENT, bubbly and gregarious people are wanted at the Sugar Hut – and they must apply on Twitter.
Owner Mick Norcross and manager Ronnie Banks want people to use the micro-blogging site to send in their CV and a photo to help the nightspot hire new hosts and hostesses.
The club employs nine part-time waiting staff, who serve customers at their tables, although Mick would like to up this number to 16.
Mick, who, like son Kirk is a prolific tweeter, said those who applied needed to be "confident, friendly and presentable".
Ronnie said applicants should have a "bubbly, gregarious personality".
And head hostess Kate Gregori, 30, said: "You need to provide good one-on-one service. People like to feel special."
Mick, whose Twitter account has more than 236,000 followers, added: "Experience helps but they don't have to have any because we are happy to train people."
The club launched its online recruitment drive earlier this month and has received more than 50 applications already.
A shortlist has been drawn up, however, Mick said: "Recruitment is ongoing because there is a high staff turnover in this industry."
Applicants need to be 18 or over and can be male or female.
CVs and a photo should be tweeted to @sugarhut or @RonniBanks
