Round Table helps local charities
THOUSANDS of pounds worth of donations were made to local charities at the Witham Round Table's presentation evening last week.
Cheques were given throughout the evening, held at Witham Rugby Club, with money collated by the Round Table through its various fundraising activities over the year.

Recipients included Brainwave charity, Families in Focus, Talking Newspapers, Mid Essex Alzheimers and Parc.
Various Brownie and Scout groups from the area also received some welcome additional funding.
As well as MP Priti Patel and the mayor, Cllr John Goodman, the evening was attended by more than 60 people.
Priti Patel said: "The Round Table has a tremendous reputation for raising money to support important local causes.
"I was delighted to see the many local groups that were at the presentation."
