The former New Zealander opener is currently travelling around the country in a bus and filming funny skits for Sky Sports' Saturday morning programme Cricket AM.

He could be seen sneaking and creeping behind deck chairs with a hand held video camera and then popping up behind his colleagues on the boundary and firing at them with a children's bow and arrow set.

It's all to raise awareness for mental health charity MIND. Depression is something Vincent suffered from towards the end of his international career.

He said: "With my history and with what I went through at the end of my career, it's a massive part of the modern day society is mental health.

"We go to the gym to keep fit, we eat well to make sure we have got the right nutrients inside of us but the mental health is just as important.

"Through what I'm doing, through asking professional sportsman about their mental health and pretty much having fun [I want to show that]."

On the day Vincent set hearts racing with a blistering knock of 110 but his bowling left a little something to be desired.

He said: "I enjoyed it. It's always fun to open the batting like I did for New Zealand but to be fair I preferred watching 'Butts', old Joe Butts towards the end there. Watching that power. What did I go for 25 off my over!"

"This (Brentwood) is a good club, a great club and it showed again today how talented they are and that's why they're through to the quarter-finals of the national knockout cup.

"They're the best club side I've played against."
