New monthly blues night begins

An exciting new, regular music night is coming to Chelmsford with Acoustic Blues and Roots, from the people behind the Blues in the City festival.

GUITAR WIZARD: Roy Mette headlines the first Acoustic Blues and Roots night at hooga next Wednesday
Top blues and roots acts from across the UK will be appearing at the venue on a monthly basis starting with Roy Mette who will headline the first night on Wednesday, December 19 with support from Happnin Boy and friends.
"Guitar wizard" Roy Mette is a great singer-songwriter and his headline set will start at 9.45pm and last for 90 minutes. Happnin Boy is due to play a 45 minute set from 8.45pm with DJ Mike Lightfoot playing roots and blues music from 8pm and between sets.

In the new year, Guy Tortora from California will be playing the Acoustic Blues and Roots night at hooga on January 16, French band Rag Mama Rag will be playing on February 27 while Rosco Levee and his band will play on March 13.
