HAVERING-ATTE-BOWER won the toss and put the hosts in. Scott Jackson made the early breakthrough with the score on seven, getting A Holdgate caught at first slip by Reece Beechey for a duck.

The other opener, Travis Hussain, dominated scoring until the next wicket fell with the score on 72, when his brother Reece Hussain was out for 11 off the bowling of Dyerson.

A partnership of 122 between Travis Hussain and father Mel Hussain then ensued before Hussain senior fell to Beechey for 75, the first of two excellent catches by Tom Gentle.

Ten runs later Gentle took his second catch, again off Beechey to dismiss Travis Hussain for an excellent 99. Scott Jackson then got O Holdgate for 23.

High Roding reached 236 for five. In reply, Havering started badly and lost Tom Mitchell for a duck and were soon falling behind the rate. Wickets fell at regular intervals, having lost half their wickets for 56.

Things did not get any better as they tumbled from 100 for 6 to 104 all out in 33.3 overs.

Opener Scott Jackson top scored with 23 while further down the card Ryan Hurley made 22.

Wickets were shared between T Hussain 1-18, M Gallop 3-22, M Hussain 2-11, A Allington 1-10, A Holdgate 1-12 and Featherstone 2-4. HABCC lost by 132 runs.
