Great sporting year for St Thomas School
THE St. Thomas of Canterbury C of E Junior School, Brentwood, girls' netball, football and basketball teams are celebrating a successful season.
In their first season of competing in 'High 5 netball', the Sawyers Hall Lane based school team finished their season unbeaten to win of their league.

MEMORABLE YEAR AT SPORT: The St Thomas of Canterbury Junior School girls' netball, football and basketball teams celebrate their successes.
Meanwhile the girls' football team were unbeaten in the Brentwood & District League to retain the trophy they won last year.
They also won the Essex FA competition for their area after winning all their games, and this is the third time the girls have won the ECFA shield since its introduction in 2005.

The girls' basketball team have also had a year where they were unbeaten this year. They won the 3v3 competition at Shenfield School for the fourth successive year, and they are also finalists in the Prime Time League and will play St Peter's School in the final.
