Dad of Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas cannot watch son's new Sky TV show
THE PROUD father of Inbetweeners actor and Writtle schoolboy Joe Thomas says he cannot watch his son's new TV series – filmed in Essex – because he does not have Sky.
Father-of-four Jerry Thomas, 64, may re-jig his satellite package when new sitcom Chickens debuts – which is this week being filmed in Finchingfield.
"I will look forward to watching it although I don't have Sky so I don't know how I'm going to get round it," the Mayfield Road resident said.
Jerry also said that Joe, 28, a former King Edward VI Grammar School pupil, has inserted references from his Chelmsford days into the new sitcom.

Finchingfield was renamed "Rittle-on-Sea" this week, while the Fox Inn pub has been cheekily renamed The Cock and Bull.
Locals have said at least 150 people have flooded to the north Essex village green this week to watch on.
