“With the green led trend of turning off our street lights at night, I fear there will be more of this tragic loss of life on our roads due to poor visability.”

“I too was one of Pammy's best friends and know she would not be 'speeding in her MR2'!!! She was the most sensible driver I know! Your comment is absolutely disgraceful!! Have a bit of respect for her family and friends. RIP beautiful angel. xxx”

“George, I am afraid the only speeding I am aware of is your comments that go beyond insensitive and race past ignorant straight to their destination of downright reprehensible. Have some respect and common decency, sufficient to at least glean facts before posting such offensively judgmental statements.
I had the great fortune to know Pamela well enough to know exactly how responsible, considerate and mature she was. All I know is that this is an immeasurable loss to so many people who were blessed to have been touched by her beaming smile and infectious personality.
I just hope her family can get some answers to offer them some semblance of comfort. R.I.P. Pammy x”

“Sorry george i agree with jo you do not know the circustances of the crash, and whet has the make of the car got to do with it. Also i agree with what worried of chelmsford was saying, there has been numerous accidents along that part of the road, it needs better lighting.....so george get real.”

“I have to say George your comment is so inconsiderate! a young girl has lost her life and that is the only input you can give?? you dont know the reason why she lost control of her car so dont attack her personnally for how she was driving.

“How about a cheaper option ? Take personal resonsiblity , SLOW down on the road in your Toyota MR2 , the road is not a Grand Prix race track ?”

“Not the first time a car has spun off this stretch of road with devestating
consequences .. maybe it's time for some long overdue crash barriers and streetlights on the Baddow bypass with another part of this stretch away from this incident site, the slip road to Maldon which is very hard to navigate safely at night too simply for the fact you can't see it properly when dark..
(or has all this years budget been spent on the councils obsession with park and ride schemes?)”
