PETER McTurk and his team from Calcott Hall will be at the Essex Chronicle Media Group's Festival of Food and Drink with a full range of fabulous seasonal fruit and vegetables, many of them grown on their farm.

"For a fresh, new shopping experience, a visit to Calcott Hall is simply a must," said Anne.

Lloyd Mann, director of food at Vacherin Ltd, is the first chef demonstrating on stage at the festival on Saturday, July 21 and has chosen to use fresh ingredients for his menu from Calcott Hall Farm.

Lloyd, from Mersea Island, said he wanted to incorporate as much seasonal local produce into his menu as possible and Calcott Hall was an ideal choice for the vegetables for his dish.

We will be publishing Lloyds menu closer to the festival weekend – you really will have a wonderful treat in store when he takes to the stage.
